argh! uni is coming to end for the year...but i still have to hurdle through these last pieces of assessment! one is worth 55% and the other is 45%, they are my 2 big ones...have a group assignment which isnt that difficult nor big... but the main thing is that its a GROUP assignment....trying to get the 2 other members in andrew and my group to do anything is a little difficult...why did they have to sign up against our names. but my tutor is aware of one of our group members...cus he is that one that warned me about her and her lack of contribution to the other assignments....grrrrr!!

so im one little stress ball at the moment waiting to be squeezed out! all i can say is bring on those 3 months!!

so yeh..im one boring person at the mo with having to roster off work for a week or two maybe to do this work so its handed in on time..PLUS our kitchen is about to get ripped apart so there is going to be another reason why i might be a little crabby....NOISE, and lots of it...i just hope the guys that come to do this are young and good looking so then it sorta makes up for the fact that there will be abit of noise lol!

i have been very quiet as of lately...but alot has been going on. some good and some bad.

i just love this pic that i took on saturday night. it was actually in the girls bathroom at the empire in the valley but the wallpaper was just so pretty against the lighting.

saturday was definately a very long day/night that went all the way into sunday. worked all day saturday, well to 4.30 anyway but we were really really bust so it felt like forever. had to quickly make myself look pretty cus i had to be at a 21st by about 6.30. thats where i took that lovely pic. so after a few drinks from the bartab (my new love ha ha ha ha!) we finally left and ventured out around the val and making sure we did not lose the b'day girl cus 2 of my friends were going home with her. Rics was going off which was good..havent been there in about a month and have missed it so much. caught up with mel and mehaf for a while and bumped into my friend nat who i have not seen in like AGES!!!! left after that cus i knew my mum would still be up and waiting for me to get home...i love her to bits, but dont like it how she always waits for me, even if it is 2 in the morning. lol!

its amazing how kids grow up so quickly. sunday was my friends sons 1st birthday party..i cant believe it has been a year, it feels only yesterday that me and the girls celebrated her wedding and birth to the beautiful matty. watching him grow up has been a very special thing and we are all looking foward to hearing what his first words will be. he is such a quick learner as he has already started walking (especially walking towards anyone who has a boost juice in their hand - and it was not me who got him liking the drinks!) i know im only young, but from watching my friend raise little matty, i cant wait til i can have my own little bundle of joy.

finally on holidays for the week, but feel that it will be a week mainly of uni work rather than anything else unfortunately. thats if i get enough effort to do any uni work ha ha!

oo the devil wears prada comes out on thursday! i so cant wait to see that movie....i LOVED the book!

she is finally revealed

so vanity fair have released a photo or two of suri after the long months of waiting. but what i cant see to figure out still is why they left her identity so secret until now. she is just a child who has a father who likes to jump on couches and apparently is never allowed back on the Oprah show! ha ha! i mean a baby is a baby, unless it has some sort of special power (like harry potter) there is no need to keep it locked away for so many months away from people.

apologies if i seem to whingy today...i have been cooped up in my house since sunday doing uni work and havent seen a single sole...hopefully that will be the end tomorrow.

finally gotten myself one of these LJ's that ppl i know have and i always seemed to look at them but never signed up for one myslef...until now that is. It's a big world of little journals, so much that it took me like 15 minutes to find myself a user name that wasnt already taken! this is when i realised that i should have gotten one earlier.

Firstly too, big thanks to the dearest Kate for helping me set up a layout for my page too! BIG kudos goes out to her! im not the bigest know-all on coding and all that jazz. infact my knowledge of this sort of stuff is ver very minute, so please bear with me as i learn my way through all of this and ask everyone for HELP!

Today i am still in shock with the news of Steve Irwin's sudden death. He was definately someone who you either loved or hated and for me, he was someone that i loved. he brought to this world a love of animals and conservation and shared it with everyone. all the land that he bought so that it could be saved and never be touched by building developers in places all around the world is just one beautiful gesture that he will be forever remembered for. I just feel saddened that his little son Bob who is only about 3 years old wont have a father to look up to and grow up with. he will hear many stories about him and what he did (including that croc feeding incident) but will never get the opportunity to stand by his dad and watch what he does. all i can say is that Steve Irwin was a character, a great icon for Australia, a proud father and passed away doing what he does best and what he loves the most.

half way through an assignment that is due on friday. at first i thought it would be a quick and easy one to do, just a few drawings and a 200 word explanation. i was just a little bit wrong. taken me 1 1/2 days to do 3 rough sketches with one final detailed sketch to go and the 200 word rationale. its probably because i get easily sidetracked by things..signing up to LJ being one of them lol! at least it might keep me away from myspace for a while....prob not though.

wishing the sun would come out more lately..still need to take some photos depicting "light surrounding you", but unfortunately the light isnt bright enough and the clouds keep on covering it. i just hope it comes out before friday.
